No Yao, No Problem...so far.

The Rockets lost Yao Ming for the season today, as we all know. Tonight it looked like it didn't matter. The Rockets beat down the Washington Wizards tonight 94-69, without their All-Star center. That marked the Rockets 13th straight win, who knows maybe once Mutumbo gets into full game shape and used to playing again, maybe the Rockets can still keep hope alive in Houston.

I hear what you are saying, Outside. But I just don't think Dikembe is going to add much.

The future of the 2008 Rockets will be Luis Scola and Carl Landry. If the small-ball approach can work, then they'll do ok.

But in the West, if you don't have a big man, I think you are in trouble.

And I think Dikembe actually played in the game against Wilt when Wilt scored 100 points.

So, at 94 years of age, can Dikembe still function? We'll see.

My guess is that small-ball will be the only way.
