Bibby heading to ATL.

Not only will Atlanta be the home of OutKast, Ludacris, Jermaine Dupri, CNN and TNT--Mike Bibby is on his way too. Bibby is heading to the Atlanta Hawks in a move that will free up a lot of room for the Sacramento Kings salary wise, according to the Sacramento Bee.

The Kings will receive, Anthony Johnson, Tyronn Lue, Lorenzen Wright and Shelden Williams. Three of the players have expiring contracts, Bibby was set to make 13.5 million this season and next.

I'm not sure how many expiring contracts the Cleveland Cavaliers have, but I bet LeBron is going to be a bit upset when he sees the Cavs didn't get Bibby, and the Hawks got him for pretty much older, declining talent (and Sheldon Williams).

The Kings have officially traded the last piece and one of the leaders of their great teams of the early part of the decade, and they didn't get much for him, besides money. On the other hand, Bibby could be what the Hawks need, a veteran who can help their playoff push.

I like what Atlanta has done with their team, I like it a lot. They have a good coach, a solid young core, an All-Star, the Rookie of the Year (Al Horford better get this award, unless Al Thornton's surge continues) and a solid-proven veteran in Mike Bibby.
