Kevin Garnett is not going to play in the All-Star Game, so in his place NBA Commissioner David Stern has given the vacant spot to Rasheed Wallace.
I love Rasheed, I'm from Detroit, the Pistons are my team, but this was not the right decision. Rasheed did not even want to be a part of the weekend, he never does. He has stated the last couple seasons that he looks forward to relaxing and using that weekend to get away with his wife. Now he's going to New Orleans. He has to be honored, but there are some guys that deserve it more than Rasheed.
Since KG, is a forward, let's go with a forward. Jose Calderon, you're out, but Hedo Turkoglu that was your spot.
Yes, Hedo Turkoglu was snubbed...AGAIN.
His numbers are better, he's been phenomenal in the fourth quarter this year and he's having a career year (plus, I'm sure he wanted to be there for the first time in his career).

The reason Rasheed is in it is because he said he doesn't want to go. It's like a game between him and Stern. They do whatever they can to piss each other off.
I was going to say the same thing, lol. David Stern can't fine him like he took glory in doing because of the technicals Rasheed use to get. So he sticks it to him by appointing him an all-star bid, lol
