A bit delayed but....

Congratulations to Marcus Camby!

Camby won the NBA's Defensive Player of the Year Award yesterday, and deservingly so. The guy hasn't had the respect he deserves the past couple seasons. He has pretty much stayed healthy and puts up some sick numbers on the defensive end. He definitely should get more consideration from coaches and whomever to be on the All-Star Team.

Camby had averages of 11.2 points per game, but more importantly 11.7 rebounds per, 3.2 assists, 1.2 steals (1st amongst centers) and a league-leading 3.3 blocks.

Camby and the Denver Nuggets play in Game Three of their first round series verse San Antonio tonight at 8 p.m. on ESPN, the series is tied 1-1.
